Parent Hope Project

The content in this course should be required learning for anyone about to have children. They will never regret finding out how to be a calm, consistent parent.

I learned so much already about my own parenting - past, current, and hopefully, future - and also my therapeutic practice with kids and families. It is exciting to be turning upside down my thinking and approach to parenting and also supporting parents/caregivers in their efforts to raise children to be psychologically autonomous.

All four sections were excellent. I will be thinking about this for a long time. And I am looking forward to conversations I will soon be having with two supervisors who also took the course and come to it through studying Bowen Theory. Thank you very much Jenny Brown.

this was incredibly useful way of thinking about how we interact with our kids and the effect that we have on them. Whereas we may have intended to be helpful in certain situation, through this lens we can see we are actually undermining them and we can adjust our behavior accordingly.
